Editorial Policy & Philosophy

Format-Free Submission Policy

Scientific Convergence (SciConvergence) operates on an author-centric publishing philosophy. To streamline the dissemination of scientific discoveries and reduce the administrative burden on researchers, the journal adopts a Format-Free Submission policy for the initial review stage.

Authors are not required to format their manuscripts according to specific journal styles upon initial submission. The primary focus during the initial evaluation and peer-review process is strictly on the scientific quality, methodological rigor, and cross-disciplinary impact of the work. If the manuscript is accepted for publication after peer review, authors will then be requested to format the paper according to the institutional styling guidelines of SciConvergence for final production.

1. Initial Submission Stage (Format-Free)

While the layout, referencing style, and font choices are flexible during the initial submission, manuscripts must still maintain a high level of readability to facilitate a rigorous peer-review process. Submissions must adhere to the following baseline requirements:

File Format

Manuscripts must be submitted in editable Word (.doc, .docx) format.

Structure

The text must be arranged in a logical academic structure, typically including: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and References.

Completeness

All high-resolution figures, schemes, and tables must be embedded within the main text at their appropriate locations or uploaded as separate, clearly labeled files.

Text Readability & Numbering

The manuscript must be written in clear, concise English. Continuous line numbering and page numbering must be included to assist reviewers in providing precise feedback.

References

Any standard, internationally recognized referencing style (e.g., IEEE, APA, Harvard, Vancouver) is acceptable for the initial stage, provided that the chosen style is applied consistently throughout the entire manuscript.

2. Post-Acceptance Stage (Final Production)

Upon official acceptance of the manuscript following the peer-review process, authors are required to align their work with the final publication standards of the journal. Detailed templates will be provided at this stage. The final production checklist will include:

  • Adherence to the specific SciConvergence typography, column layout, and section numbering style.
  • Standardization of the reference list according to the journal’s designated referencing format.
  • Submission of publication-quality, high-resolution graphical assets (minimum 300 DPI for photographs, 600 DPI for line art/charts in TIFF, EPS, or PDF format).
  • Inclusion of explicit statements regarding Funding Sources, Conflicts of Interest, Author Contributions (CRediT taxonomy), and Data Availability.

Full-length, comprehensive reports of novel experimental, theoretical, or computational research that provides a significant advancement.

In-depth, critical evaluations of existing literature, identifying major trends, knowledge gaps, and future directions.

Brief, urgent reports of highly significant, groundbreaking preliminary findings or innovative methodological tools that warrant rapid publication.

Ethical Obligations

Every submission must comply with the strict ethical standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must ensure that:

Originality The manuscript represents entirely original work. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, or redundant publication will result in immediate rejection or retraction.

Authorship All listed authors must have made significant intellectual contributions to the study, approved the final version, and agreed to its submission.

Data Integrity Fabricating, falsifying, or selectively reporting data constitutes severe scientific misconduct. Raw data must be made available to the editorial board upon request.
